About Maverick Communications, Inc.
Founded in 1987, by Ben Blackmon, and was based upon the installation of quality
products by qualified personnel. Maverick has continued to maintain this high
standard of excellence, while steadily expanding its customer's base, with
advertisement being customer referral only. This base now includes a variety of
customer types: from doctors, lawyers, hospitals, and small businesses to chemical
and oil refineries. It is this diversity that has enabled Maverick to continue an
upward growth, setting new records year after year.
Maverick's commitment to excellence has earned the reputation as one of the top
communication companies in Southeast Texas and Southwest Louisiana. By bringing
over 130 years of combined experience in communications to its customers, Maverick
is able to meet almost every communication need with intracompany trained personnel.
These communications needs include PBX, electronic key systems, card access,
interactive video, cameras, computer networking, indoor and outdoor fiber optic
cabling, and indoor and outdoor copper cabling.
As a commitment to excellence we strive to stay on top of evolving technology. Maverick
technicians attend training classes on an ongoing basis as required to stay current with
the ever-changing communications field. Maverick is a member in good standing with BICSI
(Building Industry Communication Structure International) the international
telecommunications association, with a RCDD (Registered Communications Distribution
Designer) on staff.
We are Hubbell Certified and Systimax Authorized Installer.
We have in effect a Drug Policy that conforms to all of our area plants, with random drug
testing on a quarterly basis.
Safety is #1! Safety is a top priority at Maverick. We strive to keep our employees safe
through continued education and meetings.
Maverick uses only Quality products to ensure that our customers receive the best
services that technology can provide. All cabling installations come with a 5-year
warranty and with certain provisions provide a 20-year warranty.
